The Wonky Pixie is all about nature and botanical art. We believe in looking at the little things, and seeing the light and colour within our natural world, therefore crossing over into our works.
We, where possible use our own harvested flowers, herbs and natives within our work, or source local, like my mum's garden - thanks mum!
We only ever use high quality premium resins for our resin art that has no odour and is crystal clear upon curing. We only use BIOglitters for our works (non plastic and plant made).
We sometimes reuse and up-cycle bottles, books and things like solar lights to recreate whimsical sculptures and faery houses with foraged twigs, woods and mosses. Or we source NZ wood suppliers. We make our own glues and Papier-mâché recipes out of natural ingredients or we use NZ business sourced non toxic glues and paints.
Pixie is Mum to one LEGO engineer and a cat called Rusty. We adore flowers and nature and are often seen hugging trees or sitting seaside and burrowing for teeny weeny shells at the beach. We like jumping in puddles and watching for stars in the night skies.
